Founded in 1999, AccessTurkey Opportunities Fund, LLC (“The Fund”) has one of the longest and the best track record in Turkey as a single country hedge fund. The Fund invests in a limited number of companies after conducting extensive fundamental research and engages with them over an extended period of time. Our value investing style with a contrarian and long-term perspective enables us to capitalize on mispricings in the market. The Fund primarily focuses on stocks with significant discount to intrinsic value and also trades around the core positions to take advantage of market volatility. We look for and rank investment opportunities based on the following characteristics:
- Very attractive valuation
- Large and growing market opportunity
- Strong market position and/or high brand value
- Visibility in revenue growth
- Opportunities to expand sustainable operating margins
- Unencumbered balance sheet
- Misunderstood story and /or negative analyst/investor sentiment
- Financially strong majority shareholder
